Today we found out the gender of our baby. My appointment wasn’t until 3:15, so it was a long morning of waiting. Jeremy has said all along that this baby is a boy. His family is made up of mostly boys, and he keeps telling me it’s just genetics. I on the other hand, had convinced myself this baby was a girl. My reasoning for that is because the Bible says God won’t give you more than you can handle, and I’m not sure I can handle a little boy. They tend to wrestle, throw things, jump off of things, and get hurt a lot more than little girls. Anyway, 3:15 arrives and we go back for my ultrasound. Now I’m thinking that I’m not going to be able to tell what anything is on the ultra sound that it’s just going to look like little black and white blobs on the screen. Technology is amazing. I can see my tiny little baby on the screen. I can see its head, arms, legs, and can even count five little fingers on each hand. Everything is perfect. Amazing! After watching the ultra sound I have my suspensions as to what this baby is. Well, the lady asks if we want to know the sex of the baby. YES, please! It’s a BOY!
